This
is our new one-day course tailored to the needs of people
who are or have been bullied.
Course Description
This course is for people who wish to build upon and develop
strong workplace relationships. The essential elements
of communication skills are also covered, which help to
build natural respect and good rapport with others.
The course aims to give attendees an understanding of how
to build, boost, and develop self-confidence and assertiveness.
In particular, we will be looking at these common themes:
-Learn how to establish a more positive self-image
-Understand the concept of self-esteem
-Become more self confident through realising the power of
the mind
-How to deal with criticism – feelings, assumptions,
boundaries, status
-How to remove the invisible barriers holding you back
The course aims to give attendees an understanding of:
-'How can I become more able to resist the pressure and dominance
of excessively dominant people?'
-'How can I exert a little more control in situations that
are important to me?'
-Learning how to say “NO”!
-'How can I stand up to bullies (or one bully in particular)?'
Learning Outcomes
By the end of the course, attendees will:
-Understand how to carry out assertion Self Analysis
-Know how to deal with conflict and defuse potential arguments
-Leave with confidence knowing how to say “NO” without
feeling guilty
Who should attend and why?
This course has been tailored to meet the needs of those
who are or have been bullied at work but is relevant for
anyone who feels they need more confidence, want to become
more assertive and be able to communicate with confidence.
